i’m not as secular as I have been, but when i’m not in church, I feel like every action i’ve done is disgusting and disgraceful.

When I go to church, I feel like everything I’ve done is okay. I feel good about myself and I know that God is there for me if and when I want to follow him, and be guided by him. (Some people probably read the title, saw the word “church” and stopped reading. But for those of you who have continued, thank you.) I feel like the devil’s the one trying to pull me away from God, making it seem like what I do is unforgivable. But then I remember God forgives as long as I ask for forgiveness from the heart. It’s funny though, being that a majority of my generation, think that church imposes faith onto you. INDEED, some churches will force faith, god, and commandments into your life; But all i’ve ever seen in that is a ceaseless, uncaring way of faith, or even running away from god. I’ve recently been asked my views on religion, and being straight up, I couldn’t really think of.. well anything. Growing up with catholic grandparents, a christian mom, and an absent father puts you in a certain position that you really don’t know which way to go. Over the years, I’ve come to my own faith. I’m christian Nazarene. Back to catholic churches, yes, catholicism and christianity are one in the same, but also have different traditions. Opinion; being christian shows a TOTALLY different view of God. I won’t go into it, but if you’re really interested, just message me ^_^ and don’t be shy. I love to share my testimony and the struggles that have come with it. I still have a long way to go, but my only wish would be that people would try something before having such a strong opinion on things. Everyone is entitled to their own, but you can’t know anything before you try it.
